I wanted to capture the exact moment the sun comes up in the morning. I used bold splashes of gold and bright yellow to show the warm sunlight breaking through the dark black night sky. It is all about the energy of a brand-new day starting up! I finished the piece by adding my own fingerprint directly onto the canvas to mark it as my original work.
