FAQ

Custom Commissions

What custom fine art services are available?

We offer bespoke, private art commissions for collectors, corporate spaces, and luxury home interiors. This professional service allows you to collaborate directly with Pamela Sawyer to co-create a site-specific masterpiece tailored to the emotional tone, scale, and narrative of your unique environment.

Where can interior designers source custom fine art in Florida?

Interior designers can source custom, high-end fine art directly through our Designer Trade Program. We collaborate closely with luxury design firms across Florida and the greater Orlando area to accommodate bespoke color palettes, precise structural dimensions, and tight architectural timelines.

What is the process and timeline for a custom painting commission?

The process begins with a formal consultation to discuss your space, size requirements, and conceptual vision. Once a deposit is secured, Pamela creates structural sketches and color studies. A custom commission typically takes 6 to 12 weeks to complete, depending on complexity, layer depth, and current studio schedules.

Do I need to pay a deposit for a commissioned artwork?

Yes. A 50% deposit is required before I begin your commissioned artwork. This deposit allows me to reserve time for your piece and purchase the supplies and materials needed to create it.

You have 48 hours after making your deposit to change your mind and receive a full refund. After 48 hours, the deposit becomes non-refundable.

The remaining 50% is due when your artwork is complete and before it is shipped. Your artwork will be carefully packaged and mailed with tracking so you can follow its journey home.

How many edits are included with a commissioned artwork?

Each commissioned artwork includes two rounds of edits. This gives you two opportunities to review the work and request changes during the creative process.

I’ll work with you to make sure the finished piece feels right while keeping the artwork true to the original vision.

Products Available

What types of fine art prints are available?

We offer premium, museum-grade reproductions of Pamela Sawyer’s and young artist's original works. Our primary product line consists of archival giclee fine art prints, available in strictly limited, highly exclusive collector editions.

What is a fine art giclee print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag?

A fine art giclee print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag represents the gold standard of museum-grade printmaking. Utilizing advanced archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper, this premium process perfectly captures the rich texture and vibrant colors of the original painting, offering a lifespan of over 100 years without fading.

What is Hahnemühle William Turner paper?

Hahnemühle William Turner is a beautiful, high-quality fine art paper. It is made from 100% cotton and has a soft texture, similar to watercolor paper.

We use it because it helps bring out the color, detail, and feel of the original artwork. The texture gives each print a special look and helps it feel more like a real piece of art—not just a copy.

It is also made to last, so you can enjoy your artwork for many years to come.

What do you use to create your original artwork?

Each original artwork by Dr. Pam Sawyer is painted by hand using professional-quality acrylic paints from trusted brands like Golden and Liquitex.

I paint on artist-quality canvas and build each piece with layers of color, texture, and detail. Because every original is painted by hand, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same.

Each canvas is made of linen, either pre-stretched or loose and stretched after.

Stretcher bars are made of solid wood to protect the longevity of the canvas and maintain it's integrity.

Fine Art Prints

Why do serious collectors prefer small limited editions?

Serious collectors value scarcity, which directly influences long-term market value. By limiting our print runs to very small, strictly numbered editions, we ensure that your investment remains rare, highly collectible, and distinct from mass-produced home decor.

Do limited and collector edition prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity?

Yes. Every original painting and edition print is accompanied by an official, artist-signed Certificate of Authenticity. This document verifies the title, medium, dimensions, edition number, and provenance of the artwork, securing its long-term appraisal value.

Can I schedule a private art viewing before purchasing?

Yes. For qualified collectors, art advisors, and homeowners located within a two-hour drive of Central Florida, we bring the gallery experience directly to you. We offer exclusive, private in-home viewings so you can see the true scale, color depth, and texture of the original paintings inside your actual space before making an acquisition.

How is original artwork securely shipped and insured?

Original masterpieces are professionally packed using heavy-duty, shock-resistant archival materials. All shipments are fully insured, trackable, and require an adult signature upon delivery to guarantee your investment arrives in pristine condition.

Are original paintings framed or unframed?

Original acrylic paintings are meticulously finished with painted or gallery-wrapped edges, allowing them to be hung immediately for a clean, contemporary look. Custom museum-grade archival framing can be arranged upon request prior to delivery.

Returns, Cancellations, & Payments

What is your return policy?

We want you to absolutely love your artwork. We offer a 7-day return policy for standard limited edition prints in their original, undamaged packaging. Refunds will not be issued until the package has returned to the facility and inspected. Because original paintings involve significant curation and custom framing considerations (if requested at additional cost), and because commissions are entirely bespoke, all sales of original artwork and custom commissions are final.

Can I cancel an order or a custom commission?

Standard print orders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase before they enter production. Custom commissions require a non-refundable deposit to secure studio time and materials, and they cannot be canceled once painting has commenced.
